The Sheridan County Republican Party’s 2026 Reagan Day Dinner & Fundraiser will be held Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Ramada Plaza Convention Center, 1809 Sugarland Drive in Sheridan, Wyoming. The evening will include a sit-down dinner, live and silent auctions, a pre-dinner reception, and guest speaker Stephen Willeford. The event also marks America’s 250th Anniversary.
Tickets are available through the official Reagan Day Dinner page, with several options for individuals, students, reception guests, and sponsor tables.

Meet Guest Speaker Stephen Willeford
Stephen Willeford is a native of Sutherland Springs, Texas, where his family has deep roots in the community. Willeford was raised on a dairy farm near First Baptist Church and is the fourth generation of his family to live on land in Wilson County. He grew up around firearms, participated in shooting competitions, and later taught his children gun safety.
Willeford became nationally known following the November 5, 2017, mass shooting at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs. A Texas Senate resolution recounts that Willeford heard gunfire from his nearby home, retrieved his rifle, encountered the gunman as he exited the church, exchanged gunfire with him, and wounded him. Willeford then joined Johnnie Langendorff in pursuing the fleeing attacker. The Texas Senate later formally recognized Willeford for his actions.

Willeford has said that his Christian faith and a lifelong emphasis on preparedness shaped how he responded that morning. He has since traveled and spoken publicly about his experiences and was an honored guest of members of the Texas congressional delegation at the 2018 State of the Union address.
His background extends well beyond public speaking. Willeford is an experienced professional plumber who earned his license through the Plumbers and Pipefitters Apprenticeship School in San Antonio and accumulated nearly 35 years of experience in the trade. In 2018, Texas Governor Greg Abbott appointed him to the Texas Private Security Board.
Willeford is also a Life Member of Gun Owners of America, a certified instructor, and a former assistant scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America. He currently works with Gun Owners of America as its Grassroots and Industry Liaison. His GOA biography also notes that he and his wife, Pam Farmer Willeford, have been married for 33 years and have six children.
At the Reagan Day Dinner, attendees will have an opportunity to hear Willeford speak about his life, the events in Sutherland Springs, and the role that faith and preparedness have played in his story.
Pre-Dinner Reception Begins at 5:00 PM
The evening begins with a Pre-Dinner Cocktail Reception from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. Reception attendees will have an opportunity to meet Stephen Willeford and visit with community members and elected officials before the dinner program begins.
Each reception ticket includes two drink tickets, which may be used for house red or white wine, domestic beer, or a one-shot well drink. Two cash bars will also be available for additional beverage purchases. Guests attending as part of a sponsor table already receive reception admission.
